He wants you to give a little review of the movie you post: what it was about, if you liked it, etc. I mean, sure, we can all google the image re: the movie and find about it (if were are so inclined), but since this is a "reviews" forum, it'd be nice if you gave a little info on what you saw. See Take Shelter.  Honestly, caught me off guard how good it was.  Not oscar worthy, but similar to Drive, in that I never expected it to be as good as it was.

This is a documentary about a lioness and her 3 cubs trying to survive while being pushed off their "land" by other groupsof lions and a huge brush fire. There were definite moments in the movie that were very sad, but at the same time I was rooting for the lioness and her cubs to survive whatever was thrown their way whether it was the threat of other lions, a hungry crocodile, or the difficulty of the lioness trying to find food for her young. Their was some great footage of how lions go about their daily business which was really cool to see as well as an amazing scene of male lions fighting one another. Definitely recommended.

This is at the top of my Netflix queue.  I'm hoping that it has a ton of nudity and is stupid funny, not just stupid.

It has some nudity, but not a lot. It has to many cum scenes. It completely killed my appetite because I was eating lunch while watching this when those cum scenes came on.

I wouldn't say this was the worst movie made last year, but it wasn't good by a long stretch.






Not too bad for a straight to DVD effort, but not nearly as good as the first 2.

Tarnation - documentary about the filmmaker's schizophrenic mother (family, etc...) Good. A little hard to watch, partly because of the subject matter and partly because he's a huge ham/camera hog (which is sorta explained later in the movie... mom was schizophrenic, so I act out... ). Lots of early home movie footage which gets manipulated to keep things visually interesting. Recommended if you are interested in the topic.

Checked this out on Netflix streaming last night. I had seen the part where the guy hammers the dude's head in with the fire extinguisher before on youtube, but nothing else. Kind of a confusing flick in terms of its chronology ('Memento' is like this as well), but it was good. A very brutal rape scene that was so long it made me pretty uncomfortable after a time. Overall, though, I thought this was a pretty interesting film, but sometimes the camera work made me a nauseous due it doing sometimes a 360 in a single shot.
