On a serious note though, I would enjoy a couple songs by that guy and drop him some money, for sure. The street "performers" here in Bangkok need a lesson. They sit there begging and then fumble through a recorder diddy only after someone tosses them a coin.

Or they just strap a tape deck to their chest, hit play and expect you to pay them.

Breaking my lurker status to chime in on Botanist. I wrote them off as art school fuck-wits when I saw them setting up. A buddy convinced me to stick around and watch (later found out he was the engineer on all the records) and they knocked my socks off.
