Thanks, the one for $400 in Las Vegas seems kinda worth it but I'm not sure how I feel about no headcase + shipping across the country.

Haha, well I'm not rushing to email the guy or anything. But if I found one close w/ a headcase I'd probably do it.
Just putting the feelers out, I know they're out there.

I know the one that's in Vegas. The guy selling it is an amp tech. He made the footswitch mechanism compatable with a standard 1/4" plug, so you don't have to buy the ones that sell on ebay for $100.

Hmm, $400, brand new 100W tube amp from Peavey, with warranty, or used suspect 100W SS head that will need repaired every 6-9 months from Sunn (according to the guys in Red Fang)

Which is scarey. I wonder if you could build a clone, and sell it as a used Sunn for more than you could sell as a clone. That MAGMA preamp is just reedukulouse in price.
