Anybody try one? I've been thinking about getting one. It seems pretty cool for $60. Hopefully mine will be here tomorrow. I've been thinking about using for noise stuff. Since it had a ribbon strip it seems like you can take it out of key mode and use it strictly as a ribbon to slide on. I'd like to hook it up to some other pedals.

Looks cool, thanks for the heads up. For 60 bucks it seems like a good time.

I asked for one for xmas and did not receive . fuck you santa! figured it would make a good stocking stuffer. Lumpy it looks perfect for what you do. I might get one, why not?

I got mine today and it's a lot of fun. I don't have any cables to hook it up with any effects...my only complaint are the 1/8" jacks. Why not a 1/4" for most folks. Plus it says only use a stereo plug when using the out even though it's a mono signal...I hope plugging a stereo plug into a delay or reverb pedal will still work.

try the ol' "plug the jack halfway in" with a stereo cable?

Hemisaurus

You can do it with shack shit, you need

  • 1 of 3.5mm jack to 2 RCA's (the iPod cable)
  • 2 of RCA to 1/4" adaptors
if memory serves the shack sell their RCA to 1/4" in pairs anyways, so for $8 or so you'll be set.

or you could install a 1/4" mono jack in the device itself...

That's very philosophical, you're twisting my melons man ;)

Finally got a cable (stereo 1/8 to 1/4 worked) and hooked up a few pedals. Plugging into a Pigtronix Mothership and a delay and reverb and it sounded great...certainly not like a toy.
