I think Metal and Beer posted a still photo in the GD (I think it was the "Rare Pictures of Rock" or something) from (possibly) the Barry Richards thing of Bob Seger. He was in a three piece with said guitar and the drum kit was this golden thing that connected weirdly. Maybe that photo was from somewhere else, but it sounds exactly like what you described in your review.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Not sure if it's from the show on the DVD but that drum set is totally insane.
