93 Gibson LP Studio. Ebony board. Im so glad I didnt get a new one from Zzounds. Is it mandatory that I put P90's in it? Im not much of a guitarist and it sounds OK to me as is.

Nice!  I love ebony fingerboards.  Unfortunately I don't have any guitars with them anymore.

Not knowing much about the ebony except it looks cool as hell, im noticing it's very bright. Or maybe it's the strings. But way brighter sounding than my rosewood strat.

   Dude, imo, if you like the way it sounds, don't %$#* with it.
