Hey Nick, what are you using to back light that perspex panel? Bob has fitted a Perspex panel to his amp, and I want to know how to backlight it, I'm figuring if it's neon, I already have a  HV supply for the other tubes, or is it some kind of LED strip?

dunwichamps

i drill 1/8" holes on the side of the panel into it, deep enough to sink a 3mm LED into it (super bright green). I put the LEDs into the holes then drill into headshell to run wiring.  I use a ratshack PT to get a regulated 12V and 9V supplies (for FX, relays, and the lights)

Hemisaurus

Couple o' LED's, gotcha, this amp already has a LV supply, so good there ;)

yea just take ur time, drilling the plexi/acrylic takes some grace and a good mill/drill press

Hemisaurus

Bob can drill it himself, he got more tools than me ;)

You've out done yourself, that amp is flawless.
