Incendies

A french canadian movie by director Dennis Villeneuve (polytechnique).  With the recent death of their mother, twins are sent on a quest to discover their mother's past, her life before they were born.  Like an abundant onion, the layers peel off and get's more and more intense.  Features a solid plot, however, it has slight timeline issues.

Strongly recommend this movie.  It will be an excellent contender at the Oscars.
