Great song eyeprod. I love the band I play in, but I would hop on playing bass for a band that sounds like that in a second.

Thanks guys. It means a lot. Corey, people have told us that before, yet the perfect bass player is always elusive. The guy we had is now 5 hours away, so we only play shows with him once in awhile. Then sometimes as a duo, or with a stand-in.

I've been dragging ass on getting things rolling. Either recording all myself or getting folks together to help. This actually a just a "sketch" of the tune I did quite a while ago. Free time. Warts and all. The guitar is intentionally sparse to the point of basically suggesting "chords go here" and little more than that. Sorry but it aint stoner or even heavy

I really just want to get some feedback on if it sucks or not.

This is a song i recorded two weeks ago together with my pal on the bass.
We did it in one take without any edits.

^^^^^ Whoa,that's rad! Kinda sounds like Om and if you added some lead guitar it would sound like Sleep.

im sort of spamming the jam room band thread here, but legit: this IS the latest i made up and recorded.so.......

this is eyeprod's bass and drums. ive added the rhythm track to the project and have these vocals to initially just define phrasing, but i kind of like them now. so fucking dumb it's funny.

ok, about 30seconds into your bass trip, i hit stop, plugged in, rewound, fired up audacity, record "what you hear" ..GO..
fair's fair. you did 1 take, so did i, sight unseen past 30 seconds.
i got faked out and did my octave ending in the late middle heh, so i had to slide out on some meh D cause i was out of tricks and shmoltz , but i like it

ya, i dig frank zappa and robert fripp, it can show sometimes

it was just a great rhythm to jam over for me. jam, as in wing it on the fly, ad lib..see what you get.
sry i thought you guys just hit record and go too. i thought it was great for that. ill jam over that thing more. i like it.

jibbersish, I like what you did, even if it's really weird sounding. It sounds like a song. Pretty ethnic sounding too. almost an Amon Duul 2 flavor going on.
