Here's my new axe.

2002 Godin 5th Ave. Kingpin

Absolutely gorgeous.

RacerX

Thanks! Nice bass, too—that's gotta be the deepest cutaway I've ever seen!
Livin' The Life.

dogfood

Problem solving whiskey!

That's a really cool guitar  RcrX.

I like Godins. They had a Gretsch beast copy I was eying about 10 years ago. Cool shit.
Vinyls.   deal.

Acquired an Epiphone J-45 for my niece, not me.

RAGER

Picked this up last night.  I'm so happy to finally have one. '81 SG600.  Joy.

I've got a new Avatar 4x12 shipped and on its way....

Thanks for the input on that one guys!!  Suggestions from this board were really helpful....

The fact that I kept setting my own boats on fire was considered charming.

Scored this Overdrive 80 recently.  Pretty much the same as the green Matamp but half power.  It's got something happening in the upper-mids that makes it sound more "punk" than the Matamp... it's hard to explain heh.

Jake

Dag. Some lust worthy shit popping up on this page. Well done, gentlemen.

I got a drum set off of CL for cheap.
Only problem is the clear coat is yellowed. It is supposed to be silver but it has yellow blotchiness all to one side, I presume from sun damage.
At best it looks kinda like a Champagne color, at worst it looks like it got peed on.
You guys have any low effort suggestions for evening this out?

Submarine

Beyer 88.  Secret weapon on guitar cabs, vocals and horns.  Real workhorse.

Instant Dan

Been nailing early Sabbath and Fu Manchu tones with this more than my Pharaoh.

Submarine

Excellent for Zep I tones as well.  I love that pedal.

VOLVO)))

8s. Great sounding little guitar cabs.

That sucks.   UV lamp and some time might bring the yellow out in the other areas.  I might try it to see, but I've never done it myself.  I like champagne on drums. Pee, not so much.
Vinyls.   deal.

Lumpy

Just put some colored lights on it, nobody will care.

I like equipment that looks a little beat up, personally. I would be embarrassed to play through brand new $2,000 amps and stuff, at least at the kind of shows we like.

YBA-1 & 2 YS-15'S. $650 CAN. One had an E.V. 15B sold for $250 U.S., one had an Emi Legend CB158 sold for $200 CAN.

YBA-1 total cost $250.

I don't think so Pissy, I jumpered I & II w/ a George L. though. It's got JJ's in the power section.
The guy I got it off here in Windsor needed money for his daughter's Dentistry school in T.O.

I donated this "half-stack" to Trans-Love Energies back in January. It's a Pearson Champ clone, prolly 10 Watts Class A. The cab used to be a Traynor 9x8" bass cab. I got it off a guy in Troy, Mich for $50. It has a Bob Heil (Talk Box Fame) "Celeste" 12" speaker, his version of a Greenback I guess. Really cool rig, I was honored to give back.

I love the YBA-1 amps. I know they're modded quite a lot, but I think they sound awesome stock. Jumped like you did.  Funny it seems like they're more valuable stock, but folks buy them just to mod them.

Such great amps, built to last A really long time. I'd wager the most durable amps ever made.
