I watched this whole shit go down on Direct TV pay per view when I was 14-15.

It's crazy to see it assembled into a documentary with the "rock is the devil's music!" 94/99 organizers doing most of the interpretation, while you see a disaster that *is their direct fucking fault* unfold.

i watched it. holy shit, i did not realize how fucked up that got. i was in Az at the time and not into most of the bands. im surprised more people didnt die.
i dont blame durst or limp b. what the fuck else were they going to do? they were there to put their show on and they did. there was no way anything he said could have calmed that crowd down when they were playing.

they were going to do the 50 year anniversary in 2019 at watkins glen. i was going to go, maybe. i was seriously considering it since i live about an hour from the glen.

I learned a bit, but overall, I didn't think it was done all that well. For HBO (aka a large media output) I was expecting something better.
