Nah, the funny part is actually having a facebook page...  :)

Not a fan of facebook, but our obligatory page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Straighten-The-Crooked/119998531365388
I prefer our actual website... www.straightenthecrooked.com - Worked on it a lot of the weekend and it still needs music and photos, but the rest is there for now!

I am still working on the facebook page(not sure what i am doing there yet).  But here is my last project that i am reactivating after a year off. This is a live recording btw. we were a 2 piece but i want to expand into a full band now.

"We just want to make the walls cave in and the ceiling collapse. Music is meant to be played as loudly as possible, really raw and punchy, and I'll punch out anyone who doesn't like it the way I do." - BON SCOTT, AC/DC

I actually like facebook for band stuff. If you get a bunch of streaming songs, photos, gig and contact info it gets to the point pretty decently. I've also started to get sick of flash based band websites where you have to click on an artfully done word like "dreamstate" to go to the music and "lucid moments" to get to photos and shit. Just give me the meat and potatoes, you know?

Yeah, Facebook is pretty crappy for a lot of things but it can be very useful for connecting with fans and setting up shows with other bands.

There's a tune up on there that appears nowhere else (that I'm aware of, anyway. I just noticed that we have a last.fm page, when I have no recollection of ever putting us up on there).
