Attack The Block ...a pretty decent movie...

How is this?  Every DVD I've seen lately has the trailer for it.  Definitely looks interesting.

It was a decent movie. A good watch which i'm glad that it didn't bore me and put me to sleep. David Hyde Pierce was great in it. His character was definitely a sinister son of a bitch.

Book of Eli was steaming pile of shit..one of those flicks, you kind of wish you didnt waste your time with. Where this one failed miserably, Stake Land excelled

I just finished watching Stake Land...pretty good.  Now I am off to get Pontypool.

Just watched Stake Land.  Other than the super vampire, I thought the movie was really good.  It was almost like the vampires were a zombie/vampire hybrid mixed with some 28 Days Later "rage".

Yes, Stake land was quite entertaining, as was Pontypool. 

Any other movies out there you can pass my way that are like those 2?

I'll have to look at my past rented DVD list from Netflix.  Have you seen Frailty?  Not the same type as Stake Land and Pontypool, but very good.

Some movie that starred a chimpanzee as "Alex". He could speak a little english and they rode around and did shows. I don't know the name of it. Really good flick, all we've talked about for weeks. Like to find more movies related to this.

Combine Hostel, Inside, Martyrs and some eugenics and you get this movie.  Entertaining as long as you don't think about the logistics of the clinic.

Also watched I Saw The Devil.  Besides being a little too long, that move was AWESOME.  Such glorious violence!

I watched Miami Vice again. Although it still was not great it was not as bad as I had remembered it. It was too long though. I also watched GI Joe Rise of Cobra...sorta cool, but gay at the same time.

I found the newer Star Trek movie on Bluray outside my work a long ass time ago & still have barely thought about watching this. Reading the post about GI Joe just made me remember this.

Nicholas Winding Refn's Drive

Excellent movie. I can't say enough good things about it. Gritty, intense, brooding, and, at times, ultra-violent. Highly recommended.
