Disappointing. Low rent "chase" film. Love Shannon in all of his roles, (including this one) but weak story/writing weigh this one down. Nothing explained. When the "ambiguous art-house film" takes a wrong turn.

Wanted to see this badly too...as I like Nichols/Shannon (Take Shelter), but this one is a great big ehh.

Ignored it for so long, and caught the last hour or so on Showtime last weekend...immediately went looking for it to watch the entire thing. This is a grainy, low-budget, shaky cam (retro style) that is a thing of nightmares once it gets going. No seriously  8/10.

^ yeah, Everybody Wants Some was pretty lukewarm considering the good reviews it got. I forced myself to finish it expecting something better to come from the second half, but was left disappointed.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi  7.5/10

Enjoyed it. Somehow not very Michael Bayish, which is a good thing.

"Dazed & Confused" is one of my favorite movies so I expected a lot from "Everybody Wants Some". Probably too much. Its fun but it felt like a movie that Linklater made over a couple of weekends while waiting for the kid from "Boyhood" to grow a little.

"Room" was slow but really impressive. Brie Larson is the actress that I thought Jennifer Lawrence would become after "Winter's Bone".
