great movie about that absurd meeting in 1970 when the king suddenly decideed that his country needed him to get that drugged protesting hippie youth back on track and demanded the badge and rank of a u.s. marshal from nixon to go undercover (no one would recognize him because he was in 25 movies and knows how to disguise and act)
michael shannon is even more brilliant than usual playing elvis and kevin spacey slays as nixon heck even johnny knoxville is good in this
there has been another film by alan arkush (caddyshack, r´n´r highschool) about the same thing called "elvis meets nixon" in the late 90s which is also quite cool but is not even in the same zip code than this one
