Last post by Pissy - April 01, 2025, 08:15:52 AMI've been acquiring recording equipment as of late. Buying broken mics at a discount and fixing them, same with mic cables. Picked up an old iMac for $80 (high sierra) and cleared it, loaded it with Reaper, ultimately will remove it from the internet entirely. A couple of presonus firestudio 8 ch interface units. Mic stands. Mics are mostly 57 and 58's. A couple of beta 58's. A few MXL condensers, an MxL tube condenser. A Samson drum mic kit. Yamaha powered monitors should get here today.
Now if I could only learn how to get the signal into reaper. I can see it in the presonus software, I can set up the presonus' as the input devices, I can assign channels associated with those inputs to tracks... but I don't see a signal in Reaper. Not sure what I need to click.

3/4 parts Campari
1 parts warm/hot water (no rocks!)
1 sliver fresh orange (remove 1/2 or more of the rind) squeeze and leave it in the bottom (I guess)
1/110th-tap 5-spice. narry a smidge, mainly for the slight heat.
stir
in a rocks glass (no rocks!)
repeat
3/4 parts Campari
1 parts warm/hot water (no rocks!)
