I'll play. Back in the mid-90s I had a beautiful G&L ASAT in blueburst with a maple neck. Those pickups can move mountians and smash gravity.

I'd really like to upgrade mine with p knobs like this one has. Those pickups roar.

some real beauty's in here. It'd be cool if ESP/ltd made an RD copy for bass and guitar.
I was just impressed by the reverse headstock, thicker strings need longer runs. It looks better than Schecter's non-reverse TB, the Ultra. I think Taryn from Drugs of Faith played something like that, I remember a weird body shape, and a reverse headstock.
Anything that's not a Fender derivative is always a nice change.
Talking of which, has anyone ever seen anything like a Gibson EB-1? Viola shaped, but solid bodied?

Peavey T-40 with Darkstar pups

If I have some cash lying around, might be an interesting idea. I could sell those Darkstar pups without much loss if I don't like it. Or a Warmoth EB-3 with Darkstar pups.
What would you be wanting for those darkstars?

I do know how to post a pic but I must have been stoned or some such and I thought it was a flash gallery or something, went to right click copy image location and didn't get anything. Cheers for sorting it out. :)
I want this (to exist)...

+1
Get out of my photoshop and into my rig.
I dig the neck pickup, but I'd rather have a reverse headstock, better for string tension, good when downtuning.
It struck a chord though, it's almost the same as those Dean basses, they're like $199 or $299
(http://www.deanguitars.com/img/mm2av.jpg)
I like Dean instruments, I have a Dean Rhapsody 8 that I love, but that headstock shape makes me want to smash something (in a bad way). Nothing a jigsaw and a sander couldn't fix though. I could do without all the little billy badass furnishings though, knobs and fret markers I mean. I just really like my Reverend Volcano guitar, I would rock a bass version in a hot minute. The front binding on all their bass models has put me off trying any.
If those pickups in the Dean are EMG 35 sized there are split single coil pickups, similar to that Reverend style, in that shape.
I can relate, I dislike those Dean headstocks too, bloody stupid looking. Eh, horses for courses, some people like 'em I'm sure.
There are Epi and Gibson V's with the triangular headstock, and Hondo's with pointy ones.
