I think it could be cool if used properly.  That guy's presentation is not really my style nor how I would use it, but I think it could be pretty awesome.  In a doom setting you might be able to get some droning, chanting type stuff.

I was kind of  thinking the exact same thing.

This is cool too. But the pedal is stupid expensive

I replaced guitarist with a guitar rig and one of the pickups in my bass going to it, maybe I can set up another rig and use this to cover vocals too.

Sounds like a vocoder, very fake. Neither can produce vocal nuances anywhere near what an old-school talkbox can.

Color me unimpressed.

Me too, especially after seeing that bass demo, wonder how it would sound for noise stuffs.
