My band got signed :)
Congratulations! :)
I never tried to find a label for my music, I don't think it's good enough :( I had some proposal of the small cassette release and I thought that everything is going fine with it but guys are remaining silent for 2 months or so...

Also, I'm into making even more primitive and repetitive music right now, so I'm afraid that no one except me will like this shit :D:D

RAGER

I'm in the same position. That's why I hide out in my basement for hours. I'm great entertainment.

No disrespect intended Showdown, but when I hear that I immediately think "Haha,  . that's gonna suck". I know there are still beneficial situations between bands and....not bands, but that's dwindling before our eyes
"Would it kill you fellas to play some Foghat?"

I'm interested in purchasing a new guitar, and so I've been looking at this 1986 Ibanez Roadstar RG135.  I haven't been by the shop to try it out yet.  Any one know any stories behind these guitars, or the year?  I almost pulled the trigger on a Blazer once, regret it to this day.

mortlock

I started my own label and signed my band. not sure if that counts.

Danny G

If you don't describe it as such, totally ;)

I've released 3 solo albums with Hobbit Hole Records heh

Bloody Cash Records here. Very obscure label. Virtually unheard of.

mortlock

do you want to sign my band??

Omlet

Uhh I totally forgot that there's a dude who want to release my synthwave EP on the tape, so I was wrong :D

Danny G

I won't sign your band unless I'm in it. And you pay for everything.

A friend of mine recorded our last set with his phone. It's clipped pretty bad and muffled but it's cool to hear the crowd around him clapping and wooing after each song. On stage it seems a lot more sparse and of course quiet with earplugs in.

My first electric was an '85 Roadstar I bought new with paper route money.  It was a great guitar- still around somewhere, absolutely beat to shit and with a different neck on it.  Definitely go check it out- could be a good grab if the price is right

johnny problem

Price on this thing is great. $200 CDN.  Plus, I know for a fact this thing has been sitting in the shop for a minimum of 2 years.  So $150 cash will be my price.  I've got time to play this thing on Thursday.  Thanks for your input, Diddler!

Got the invite I was hoping for to join a particular band on drums. Add that to also being the new bass player for The Reptilians and finally getting the fuck out of college here in 3 weeks is going to kick major ass.

By itself, holy shitballs this sounds fuckin crazy awesome.

Regardless whether you like the music or not, this is gonna blow some minds.

Thinking about selling my soul and joining a popular cover band that plays casinos. It won't be much fun but I am having a real hard time turning down an extra 800 bucks a month.

Cover bands are getting sued these days. Be careful.
Somebody's gonna eat my pussy or I'm gonna cut your fucking throat.

Interesting. But it has maybe hundreds of screamo bands and exactly three death metal bands listed.
