The Shocker

Sweet!  Somebody is going to be very lucky to get that.

The Riffer

For reals. That thing destroys so hard, that I think I will build one for myself, sans gore graphic.

fix't -J

fixed again, it was the first vid you linked 2 but thanks for catching my sloppy crap Jake.

Slave Out box with built in 4 band EQ with bypass option. Run your amp into it, then the thru cable to your cabs and the slave out will allow you to drive another amp and or send the signal to the PA

How does this work? Passive attenuator and tone controls? Are you just keeping the input impedance reasonably high so you won't burn off any power in that box? Seems like transformer isolating the amps would be a better solution...

~10k input Z if you assume no tonestack, caps are rated for 400V. I replaced the 1K 3W MO resistor with a ~5k one later on

Assuming say 200W RMS output at 8 ohms that would be 40V RMS

40V RMS across 10k = 0.16W RMS so very little power across the attenuator.

Its a passive resistive attenuator, Vol control, FMV tone stack, output jack. A iso-transformer is superior but more complicated. this gets the job done.

The L-Pad is your friend yo.

I am not attenuating the main signal out to the cabs tho, theres a through run which runs from amp to cab uninterrupted with the signal being taped to do the EQ

That woodwork gives me, well...wood.

all props should go to Mammoth Cabs. They did the excellent headshell. I was/am very impressed with his work.

fallen

That is really nice. Really like the scalloping in the inside edges on that.

thanks and i dig that 2. for my own personal head I will go with a similar style but the front wood panel would be gone and instead have etched acrylic there

1776 Effects Multiplex Echo Machine. Entirely in love with it, but was really my first adventure in "you want to fit what into where?" Not perfect, but good enough for me to step on.

Ayek

This is the bass preamp I ended up building for a 300w p.a. amp I got given. Still gotta judge if I like it enough to make it prettier with a new front panel and replacement headshell. The amp had been dropped (that's why I was given it) and the p.o.s chipboard headshell came apart, but I glued and screwed it enough to make it hold together for now.

3 in 1 fuzz for a guy who couldn't decide which fuzz he wanted so asked for all three in a box. From left to right it's a tweaked One Knob Fuzz with input cap switch, Dobsky Fuzz (my tweaked Russian Muff) and a straight up Ibanez Standard Fuzz clone. Got most of the main fuzz categories there. He's using it on bass..

and a trio of Dobsky Fuzzs:

holy hieroglyphics batman, that is sick.   even the concept of the package.  lots of nice toys in this thread.
