Prolly my favourite show.

This last season seemed the weakest. Dropping the whole Trinity/wife dealio pissed me off.
Peter Weller was awesome....and I like the developments with Quinn.

Last season wasn't bad up to the last Episode which was just downright retarded on so many levels. What an incredibly lazy way to wrap up multiple storylines.

Julia Stiles is Poochy (she was the worst thing in the Bourne movies too). Can't act & is not hot either. Any time the series doesn't focus on Dexter or Deb it loses it's way. The Angel/La Guerta story lines are the worst.

Did you see that Michael C Hall (Dexter) & Jennifer Carpenter (Deb), who are married in real life are getting a divorce? And that Julia Stiles is the reason? Wonder how that will work for next season - Deb better not die or leave the show as she is just about my favorite character.

I tried to get into this show even in the first season and just couldn't get past it. It seems so hokey to me.

Don't get me wrong I've had tons of people whose opinions I respect tell me it's a great show but I watched about the first 5 episodes of season one and just abandoned it.

The first season is a bit kooky - but it's a great intro to all the characters.
I don't like going oot of order, but you could try one of the other seasons with Jimmy Smits or Lithgow. Good shit.

Deaner, I think they've been separated for quite a while now. Well before Stiles showed up.
I like where Deb's character is going.

Got my info from the gossip websites Dlisted & WWTDD, so yeah it might not be accurate. It was interesting to watch Dex's & Deb's interactions knowing the behind the scenes drama going on.

I was extremely disapponted that Deb never found about what Dexter does.

I'm just glad that Julia Stiles won't be back for next year.

They certainly set it up where she could...

I'm really interested to see what they will do with Deb's character next season. She's pretty close to being able to understand Dexter if you ask me with letting the vigilante go.

I really thought that the last scene of this season would have been Dexter telling Deb what he does. That would have set up for a great season next year.

There's a comic book? I know there are novels - I read the first one after watching the first couple of seasons and wasn't really impressed. From my limited sample of one book, the TV series doesn't follow the books all that closely.

I might be wrong, but I think the first two seasons followed the book while seasons 3,4, & 5 did not.

i just got into this show recently and have watched the first four seasons on netflix. they don't have season five yet. i'm interested to see where this thing goes now that rita's dead. it's a completely ludicrous show on every level but it's got the hook in me somehow.

i hate deb. she's an imbecile. total spaz. i wish he'd fucking kill the bitch. but, like i said, haven't seen season five yet so i don't know what happens. also, i didn't like rita either. i liked the view but i found myself, during season four, telling her to shut the fuck up, be a good little wife and quit asking questions. total male fantasy, i know. but that's kinda the draw of the show...this guy just kills anyone he wants, weaves his web and gets away with it without any sort of remorse or real concern for others. it's great. i wish i could do that.

I loved the first two seasons, enjoyed the third, loved the fourth, watched the fifth but can't really remember if I enjoyed it. I'll probably stick with it though.
