At the moment I have three tracks ready for this project, all quite similar to each other, all with lots of reverb and noise from pickups of my Tele.

I called the genre of this project ambient doom rock

Post details of your synth rig in the synth thread dude.  Love to know what you;re using.  Is it all software or do you have some hardware?  Sounds like software to me.

Me Joe and our Buddy Mike did this a couple days ago.  We recorded into a Korg 1200. Guitars and drums were recorded live then I laid down the vocals I just made freestyled it and made them up as I went a long, and then Mike did the Harmonies.  It's the first thing I've sung on in a long time and it's the first thing I've done completely finger style too!

in other news, my band (working band name is "Holy Snakes" - subject to change) recorded this  a couple of months ago right after we kinda framed it up. Still working on the timing at that point so there are a couple of minor stumbles where Nik and I don't quite come in at the same time, but even with those little mess-ups, I think it's pretty good.

Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be a band called Holy Snakes yet (?) except for some inept teenagers on Youtube. (There was a band called Holy Love Snakes though, in the 90s)

No I was originally thinking of Melisandre from Game Of Thrones but I think Fairuza Balk makes a better angry witch although I'm sure Sharon can keep up with the best of them...funny Ozzy is a lot like Stanis LOL

Many thanks my friend, ROCK ON!!!  Your stuff is definitely killer as well, I dig your band.  Cool pedals man!  I have the VTBass too which sounds great through my Gallien ultralight bass combo 212 I used at a jam last week.  I bet you could put some pedals in front of the British and it would sound really close to the Oxford, cheers
