i didn't really notice the quick cuts/editing myself, but that's just me.

we're halfway through the season now and i feel like they haven't really done anything with rob's storyline or with bran's storyline. maybe that'll be more heavily featured next season (the last half of season 3).

One things for sure, if they don't get more focused on Bran's storyline quick, that actor is going to be too old to play the character effectively. He's already too old for what Bran is supposed to be through out the books. In the books, Bran is only maybe 12 years old and is small enough that he can ride on Hodor's back without any problem whatsoever. This actor is already so big that they have to use a cart to carry him in while Hodor pushes it. That said, the casting of Hodor was pretty poor. Hodor is supposed to far bigger (and younger) than the actor the cast to play him.

Game of Thrones is in a position like the Harry Potter books where they're kind of fucked in that a lot of characters in this story can't age too much or it ruins the premise and the characters themselves. The biggest problems are with Bran and Arya, though Arya looks relatively the same, though, as stated, Bran is becoming problematic in terms of how the actor is aging.

As far as Rob's storyline, I think they're setting it up pretty well. By the end of the season things will be place for what happens. I don't see a problem with it.

Great episode.  The opening fight scene was really well done.  So was the cave scene with Ygritte and John Snow. That really touched me, since I know in what context that scene will later be referenced, from reading the books.  

I don't mind a lot of dialog either, the acting is so great.

The Stannis scenes with his wife and daughter were interesting, and they've changed a lot from the book.  Not sure how I feel about that yet, I guess I'll have to wait and see where they go with it.

I would have liked to see some more of Rob's anguish over beheading Karstark. He was really conflicted in the book.  I didn't think any of those scenes were particularly well done, actually.

No Theon this episode.  Curious where that is going also.

It was awesome! Not a fan of the Starks.  They don't know how to play the game.  Honesty and honor just gets you killed.

i thought the red wedding was so well done. i've read the books so i was expecting it, and they handled it so well. liked the change with talisa being at the wedding and dying as well.

i don't remember what happens to edmuir (catelyn's brother).
