yeah, I must have liked it cuz I keep thinking about it.  it's like a cross between A Clockwork Orange and that movie about that Joy Division dude.  I do have a hard time believing that that's anywhere near how it all went down in real life though

We watched the remake of the thing last night. What a complete piece of crap. It wasn't the thing. I was a rehash of the fucking xfiles movie. It wasn't even the thing. I was like alien was in an xfiles movie. Shit pissed me off

not that you're gonna beat Kurt Russel with some new hot chick, but I was hopeful that this would be a semi-cool remake, if only for being able to make the thing that much more shocking what with all this new-fangled technology shit.  was that stuff any good at least?

I think the only remake I've seen that was better than the original so far was Dragon Tattoo

First 75 minutes it was very slow moving. I even thought the actors "over-acted" for most of the fim, but the end picked up a little bit and the movie redeemed itself. Had a decent soundtrack to it. Nothing great, but a decent watch.

I liked this movie better than the above film. Quick moving for the most part with some good action. I also like the storyline. Everyone stops aging at the age of 25 where in order to keep living you having to buy "time". I didn't fall asleeep once while watching it so it wasn't half bad and its worth the rent.

Not as "adult oriented" as slap shot.  But still quite as good.  Based on a true story if you can believe it.
