Recommend a decent bass on the cheap

Hi!

My first post on this forum!

I have a Cort Arona 4 string bass that i am quite pleased with.
The bass have a active/passive switch and also a dial for choosing between p-bass, jazzbass
and in between (jaguar? ).
The bass is also very lightweight which i like.
It's not that well known bass but have gotten great reviews.
If i had to choose a bass again i think i would have chosen the 5-string version though.

Agree about cort, they seem WAY too nice for the price. also, a Lotus (made in india) if you want a P-bass with a fat neck and solid as a peavy.

I second Cort I have an A6 that I picked up for like 220$ and it's pretty badass has a single Bartolini pup, I didn't even have to upgrade.  A REALLY good brand you can sometimes find cheap are MTDs, I picked up an MTD KZ-4 for like 260$ once at a music go round they go for 1k-1.1k new and it was pretty close to being mint.  Only issue is it did require some upgrading but overall its a great brand that is heavily undervalued on the resale market for how nice it is.

As stated previously, the sb2 is an amazing sounding bass even the tribs. Not sure if you're ever in DFW but here's a great deal.
