Connecticut Shows

Submarine I saw a really great show at The Oasis in New London, CT about 5-6 years ago (Traindodge, The Story of the Sea, Roma 79, and Recur Occurrence). Recur Occurrence was the local band to CT, maybe even New London area. I sadly missed Recur Occurrnece as I got the feeling they may have been interesting (mathy post hardcore/post punk, etc.). But the other 3 bands were all killer, and it's a kooky cool little place with good beers and very laid back vibe. Keep a look out for New London area, as that is convenient to where I live in Walpole, MA (about 1:15 away). Not sure The Oasis survived covid.

I was just up in New London the other day.  It's at the far end of the state for me. El N Gee was the cool club in New London years ago.
Most venues are now in the New Haven/Wallingford/Hamden area, probably because of all the colleges nearby.
