Again, I live 20 min from Vinci.
Theres a place like Vinci in the Chicago area called Rosemont that has like nobody living there and it's 100% mobbed up.  It's right by O`Hare.

I posted this on "the other stoner site" (still on board....but gettin kind of skeptical of the finish);

watched EP 4 last night.....good action ending for sure. I still don't see the depth coming together overall though? 4 episodes in?

I revisited EP 1 of season one over this past weekend. Holy shit, I can't believe how good even the first episode is. It's like night and fucking day to season 2.

If season 2 continues to vague along....I'd almost call this a pretty decent let down. How is the first season so brilliant, and than this??

Of course I'll keep watching though

ez

^pretty much.

Completely different (and worse) show than the first season. I'll stick it out, but at this point it's pretty much a lost cause.

Even the shoot-out, which admittedly was not bad when taken out of context, was just a hamfisted plot device in the end.
Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everybody's gonna die. Come watch TV?

I'm beginning to agree that Vince Vaughn's character's dialogue is cringeworthy. Nobody talks like that. C'mon.

Last episode was a boring mess. I have an idea of where this is all headed, but like last season, it will be anti-climatic; however, at least last season was fairly compelling due to the main characters. I can't see the series running beyond another season if this kind of shit keeps going on.

Still enjoying this season...

Literally a terrible orgy.  I was expecting something a lot more crazy and raw when I was reading some critics blogs they were acting like it was some insane scene and kept writing "THEY GOT ACTUAL PORN STARS TO BE EXTRAS."  Yeah right, even the orgy was a disappointment this season :(

Showing the Rachel McAdams flashback with the pedophile was way unnecessary too you could literally tell after one episode she was raped as a kid it wasn't necessary to the plot to show it like it's some huge revelation.  Way too much telling not enough showing this season.  The worst part of the show is Taylor Kitsch.  Literally one of the worst hack acting jobs I've seen.

Chest Rockwell

it's all awful.

I've now decided that it's a comedy. comedy genius in fact.

"I dont have any fillings"

"A mexican standoff with real mexicans"

"so did you bang my door down for a staring match?"

"you might be the last friend I have"
- "ooh that would suck"

HILARIOUS!!!!!

still 100% on board with this.....

The Shocker

I just want there to be a Frank spinoff show.

Fuck you!

The Mexican standoff thing made me laugh but his dialogue is like some Dragnet shit with off the cuff non sequiturs.

Rachel McAdams was amazingly stunning looking as a whore.

Orgy scene-meh. Would probably pause it a lot if this was 1989 and I was watching on VHS.

Still have no idea what the fuck is really happening (I thought the dead chick was the girl that they saved from the orgy) but I'll keep watching because maybe it will all make sense?

I'm Red Jr.  Who are you?

Yeah it's a little fucking insane but I really liked the past 2 eps. I like the Lynch-esque feel (awkward dialogue, viewer confusion) but I hope it has more resolution.
Don't feed the trolls... and don't be a pussy.

there was a Frank quote that actually made me laugh out loud...when his wife was questioning him in their club a few episodes ago,
he said something like;

....."I was dropped into warp speed, and I'm just trying to navigate the blur"

I'm totally engaged, although I agree it's not as good as season 1 and some of the criticism is deserved, although the anti-hype for season 2 has been even more overblown than the hype for season 1.

Finally RetardG gets on board. Welcome

If they went full on Noir I think it might have worked.

I'm watching Desparate a 1947 noir classic - the TD cast speaks their lines way too slow and it's not shadowy and jittery enough.

Dr. Irving Pitlor, the creepy, fake-tanned psychiatrist = Rick Springfield

Just a matter of time, literally...

JkFlesh

This show has definitely gone full noir.

It started off uneven but it was always interesting and compelling, and the last few episodes have been flat-out awesome.  I'm also totally on board.  Can't wait for the finale.
