Anyone know anything about Montaya or Montoya guitars?

My dads friend is selling a Montaya les paul copy. Pots need some work as there very scratchy and got some chips and scratches in the wood. not sure how much these run for as the guy hasn't listed a price yet.

Just another copy. It's it a set neck or a bolty? If it's setneck, I'd say grab it anyways simply because it can always be made into something worthwhile.

Looks like a Univox/Kay/Sears catelog guitar.  Definitely bolt neck (neckplate gives it away).  $50 maybe?
