Well I cooked my LPB-1 trying to get cute by adding a different LED.  I was needing a Rangemaster clone anyway.  I'm looking at the Maritime Analog Bullfrog Boost, A Fulltone Fat-Boost 1, Homebrew Germania, or maybe Dunwhich is doing one as well.  Or should I just get a kit?  Kinda burned out on building.

Friends don't let friends play solid state amplifiers.

I have one of these and like it a lot. 2 modes (treble and vol boost) make this effect pretty versatile.
Oh Andy I'm gonna go over to mount pilot and worship Satan

If you fix the LPB, you can swap the input caps to make it a Screaming Bird treble boost.

The damn switch broke off the board from that flexi-wire shit.  I'm burnt out on building, I might go for the Homebrew or the Maritime after all.

HB Germania is supposedly very good along with Analogman Beano boost.

I know, it was my fault. I didn't lose any $, got the Torn's Peaker in a trade for a pedal that was a gift.  So no money lost.  Oh well.  Lesson learned.

This could be an option, apparently it's based on the Rangemaster:

Don't know where you are but if it's not cost prohibitive I'd take the busted pedal off your hands

Rager, I'm so broke right now, it's not even funny. I couldn't even afford the $8-10 to ship it to the States from north of Toronto.  I'm gonna hold on to it for now, might have Ronsound look at it when I ship him my Screaming Tree.

There's not a massive amount of difference between an LPB-1 and a Rangemaster. You could get a proper footswitch and re-use the LPB-1's PCB, case and jacks and have your rangemaster for the cost of a switch, transistor and a few components.

if you are broke and would rather spend the time rather than the money. Probably cost you about $10 US or CAD.
