Long way round

Ewan McGregor and his mate Charley Boorman ride around the world on BMW's.  Pretty fuckin cool.  the best parts are Mongolia and Siberia.

Weird that you'd post this, because I was just thinking about these dudes doing this a few days back.

It was sometime ago, no? I remember when they finished they had big beards and looked pretty worn out. I'll definitely check this out.

Yeah it was in '04.  Completely escaped my radar.  Ewan seems like a cool guy and he's the bazillionaire.  His friend is the one that comes off like a wanker some times.  We're gonna start the disc tonight where they are in the states.  I'm sure it will be boring compared to eastern Russia.

Charley Boorman, the other guy, is John Boorman's son and is probably best known as playing the young Mordred in Excalibur (which his dad directed). He's been in some other stuff, too, obviously.

He was in "The Serpents Kiss" with Ewan.  They became friends (mates) during that movie I guess
