Do they make OLP's anymore?

I'm digging the look of the new MusicMan's, but I can't find anyone selling OLP's anymore. Did they stop making them?

Grab em up if you can find one used though.

No, I was never that fond of the original MusicMan's and I think SX did a good clone, if I wanted one. But something like the above with a purely passive EQ system and a maple fingerboard would be nice.

I had an OLP Tintop for a while. Sounded okay, but didn't stay in tune very well (the neck flexed a lot). Also, the design made reaching the upper frets difficult.

I did really like the machine screw inlays and the satin finish on the neck, though. Too bad it wasn't a little sturdier.

I had an OLP guitar about 6 years ago and to be honest it kind of sucked.

I would just save up for the real thing.

Now that Ernie Ball has an import line (Sterling By Music Man), that's actually pretty good quality, there's no reason to have OLP. EB didn't own OLP, but as the name says it was an "Officially Licensed Product". So no need to license an entry level import brand when you're making your own.
