Piece of randomness, with instrument building content.

Was watching a documentary on the Who on Netflix. Seemingly Roger Daltrey built his first guitar at the sheet metal factory where he worked, and John Entwistle built his first two basses himself. Couldn't find any pics of either instrument, maybe I should watch the documentary again.

I've seen just one pic of Roger's guitar he built in a Who biography book I had a long time ago. It was too bad, I wish I could hear what it sounded like.

I'm beginning to think God was an Astronaut.

I know it was made in a sheet metal factory, but I'm guessing it was wood?

"My Fender was copied from a guitar shop window. They were more than £100 then. You could buy a house for £100. That's how much money they were. My dad had to get the equivalent of a mortgage to buy my first factory-made guitar"

Got-damn!  Didn't know that. Anyone know why they were so expensive?
