  Anyone have one/spent some time with one ?

How good are they, tonewise ?

I have a line on one at a good price & I'm thinking it might be a good practice amp for my nephew.

I'm sure it'll be a great first amp.  Modelling is good for people starting out, it gives them a general idea of what's what.  Not for me, but pretty cool for a first amp.
Friends don't let friends play solid state amplifiers.
