Bigsby installation

For the guy who is not overtly technical, would it be worth it just to pay someone to install a Bigsby B5, along with the vibramate, on your guitar or is it simple enough for a guy like me to do it?

Follow the instructions carefully and you should be fine doing it yourself. Even if you don't succeed it's totally non-invasive so you can always get someone else to finish it off for you.
