I just finished watching the series. I thought it was pretty decent, and got better as it went along.

Although I still prefer the Band Of Brothers, which is a 10/10 for me.

Anyone else watch it?

Yeah, I remember watching when it was released.  It was pretty strong.

Saw it before I saw Band Of Brothers, so I had nothing to compare it to. I loved it when it was on. I liked it enough, in fact, to read the E.B. Sledge memoir that it was partly based on (it was good).

I then, later, saw BOB and thought it was pretty superior, in every way, to The Pacific.

Dude, I totally read that book too!

One thing with Band Of Brothers was that the group stayed basically the same (hence the brothers), while the Pacific had different characters coming and going - realistic, but harder to follow.
