Art & Lutherie guitars?

Anybody have any experience with these guitars? I'm looking to pick up one of their Ami parlor guitars. The one I played has a nice rounded sound and projected very well. Just wondering if any of their other models are worth seeking out.

A&L is a branch of Godin guitars.  Those canucks know what they're about.

All their stuff is great from my understanding; they diversified with multiple brands in order to cover multiple price points.

At $200, the Ami I played is a very well built and nice sounding guitar. I prefer parlor guitars for slide work. I had been looking at resonators when I stumbled across the Ami.

I was playing a Seagull Parlor the other day (same family of companies), and it sounded tits. Couldn't stand the look of the tiny headstock, tho. Those Amis look way nicer for sure. I'd grab it up if it sounds good. I also loved my Godin solidbody electric. Quality products.

I had one of their entry level acoustics for a bit. It was adequate, it wasn't any better than a $99 epiphone IMHO.

Which model did you have? I didn't get that impression from the one I played. I have a different one on the way from the one I played since I found one in a color I like better.

I looked on the website and I'm not sure it was one of those. Cost about $200 new. It was a gift but it never really stayed in tune. I returned it and paid the difference on an epiphone hummingbird. I'm sure the one you want will be fine.
