The things are going for around $350 shipped on the EGay site. Might make a good bass head as I know they're loud as all get out. Anybody ever try it out?
Vinyls.   deal.

Yeah I use one regularly, great bass amp. Lots of punch and no lack of low end.

I had a mace for a couple years, super loud and built like a tank, but I thought the tone was pretty boring. I picked mine up off craigs for 200 with a matching oversized 4x12. Personally I'd hold out for a roadmaster, basically the same 160 watt 6x 6l6 power section as the mace but with a tube preamp. If you're lucky you can pick up a super festival vta for around 350-400,  which came out around the same time as the 400 series musicians, they run 4x 6550's, and might sound better for bass. Though grabbing a mace for a tube power amp might be cool.

VOLVO)))

I use a Heritage VTX for bass, dirty dirty bass...
