Just curious as to what's your deal with Hemi?
Legitimate beef or just taking the piss?

He would make frequent passive-aggressive comments about any piece of gear that would cost over $100 and the people that owned them which a few too many times was me...Eric (Erik?) aka neighbor664 does the same shit which is even more annoying because I see him in person from time to time and it never comes up then. This is a genre founded by shitty, unwanted gear (Orange/Matamp's were dirt cheap in the 80's). We all started with plenty of Peavey and Sovtek gear and that shit has a lot of personality but I'd never challenge someone's legitimacy as a musician either based on having overly expensive gear or overly cheap gear especially when I know a lot of guys living on nothing that'll still have pricey gear because it's more of a priority to them than a car, vacations or health care. Hemi just played the reverse snob card too many times.

As for the meanness, that's my fault. I have a hard time letting shit go and I often read forum posts as personal shots.

Don't let it bother you.  We all have our quirks and insecurities that come through from time to time on here but I don't think anyone actually means any harm to anyone.
