Eén avond, drie bands en oneindige veel vette riffs en gave grooves: dat is het recept voor Brainbangers' Ball. Rotor, 7 That Spells en Neume zorgen samen voor een feestje dat jullie headbangers niet snel zullen vergeten. Bovendien is dit de enige kans dat je in Nederland dit evenement kunt bijwonen, dus zorg dat je erbij bent!

Rotor is een Duitse rockband die al sinds 1998 meedraait en tijdens deze vette tour een live-album brengt: de limited edition versie van "Live at Festsaal Kreuzberg 2009?. De muziek is een mix van excentrieke indierock, psychedelische stonerrock en, wie kent ze niet, Kyuss. Diep, zwaar, vet, wah-wahs en distortion, zwevende riffs en diepe bas: Rotors dynamische, ruige liveshow moet je gezien hebben!

Ook 7 That Spells heeft iets bijzonders voor jullie in petto tijdens Brainbangers' Ball: hun nieuwe album The Death And Resurrection Of Krautrock: AUM is uit! En op 15 oktober kun je ook dit drietal rockers live komen aanschouwen. De band, in 2003 opgericht door Niko Poto?njak, bestaat uit een drietal muzikanten die live vaak ondersteund worden door gastmuzikanten. Hun mix van stonerrock met een agressieve, psychedelische sound (en af en toe een Viking-begrafenisrite...) heeft ook Roadburn (2009) en Duna Jam (2010) op z'n kop gezet en nu is de Muziekgieterij aan de beurt.

Neume is een Duits tweetal en de jongste formatie van de drie bands – maar dat wil niet zeggen dat ze minder herrie maken! Met hun tomeloze energie zorgen ze voor een energieke liveshow en hun debuutalbum "Inch" doet nergens voor onder. Check it out!
