Got shocked through my instrument last week... Thought I was poked by a burr from a string between the saddles and bridge, but then got it off the fret wires on other hand. Not sure what it was, though I suspect the box fan sharing the amps electrical outlet contributed to the situation.

Couple years back, I tried plugging into that same outlet while leaning/extending over. I had my guitar on so I was focusing more on not knocking shit over with the headstock. Had my ring finger under the ground of the 3 pronger when I inserted and got this really strange throbbing sensation.

Both were very mild, and more nuisance-like than anything, but I don't care to be shocked regardless.

2-prong power cord + telecaster + no shoes + pedal switch = electrocution.

One of my next projects is going to be a Isolation transformer pedal for my guitar and mic so no more shocks at shows I hope.
