Easiest to find for me is just to use the six heaviest strings in a seven string set. I think a wound third really improves feel on a detuned guitar and there are just not that many six string sets available w/ a wound third. The particular strings I use are Webstrings, heaviest seven string gauge they sell. My reason for choosing them is they are cheap so I change them more.

It's all a matter of preferences really. For a really long time I used 11-52 and tuned to B. Then I switched to D'addario EJ22 string (13-56) and tuned to C. Nowadays my by tune to A# and I now use D'addario EXL158 (13-62). Try a couple of string sets and choose which one's best for you. I've grown fond of the these D'addario sets because the 4th string is wound.
