I watched the new zappa doc on hulu. It was really good. It covered his career from start to his death. Had interviews with many former band members. The later part really got into his compositions for orchestras. You got to see his private vault room where he had the masters to millions of recordings. It was awesome. The spent a little time on when he was pushed off the stage/injured and how that changed the trajectory of his career. Valley Girl and zappa single handedly taking on the pmrc. It was very interesting. I wish he would have run against bush for president. They jammed a lot of information into 2 hours. If you like zappa, you will like this. If you dont know much about zappa, the film will give you a good education into what his music was all about.
