I remember seeing that a couple of weeks ago, like mentioned, it is the suck but I hope he lands on his feet again. Sounded like his personal life/health was going to hell in a hand basket.

That really sucks!
George has made some excellent amps and parts for years and the Metro Amps forum has been one of the most active and helpful boards out there for amp builders.
Hope things shape up for him, George is a class act.

After reading everything on the site and on the forum my understanding is that he is discontinuing his kits only.
He'll still have various parts and mods (fx loop)available otherwise he will be focusing pretty much exclusively on his amp builds including contract builds (Ampeg?).
Seems he's going through a divorce and he did mention some health issues but didn't elaborate.
Anyway, forums will stay up at least for the time being.
Seems that the whole kit building end of it has slowed down as I read that the forums had really slowed down recently.
May be what prompted him to pull the plug on the kit end of things.

It's the B-15 that he did buit for them, ONLY 50!!
