I worked a Black Star Riders (Thin Lizzy, kinda) show last night. Loud guitar amps, and impeccable tone. I thought I would post a little info here for other dorks like me...

Scott Gorham plays through 2 ENGL heads into 2 Marshall 1960 cabs. Damon Johnson plays very loud Wizards. Both playing some sweet looking Les Pauls, of course. Got a couple of pics of Mr Gorham's pedal board (below). Not great pics... I really should've done better.  Jimmy Degrasso plays a very large and very nice DW kit. I'm not a drummer, but a guy working with me who is a drummer described it as "top of the line" and declared it "awesome."

Excellent. I expect this level of feedback for all future shows you plan on attending.

No shit, keep it up! Besides the Boss tuner, I don't recognize any of those pedals. What are they?

btw, I like Black Star Riders a lot, & I've posted some BSR stuff in General Discussion, but no one else seemed to dig 'em.

There is a Strymon El Capistan delay, a Retro Sonic stereo chorus, and the Dytone is a treble boost.
