Annoyed me into google searching. B15S? The "normal" and "bright" inputs are wrong though, maybe an earlier later model?

Stuff like this awakens the gear geek lurking inside me;D
Yes, definitely does.
Thanks guys.
Classic recording amp for bass - I think the SVT is based around that circuit (and maybe the V4 too?). Difference with the B-15 being you can hit the sweet spot in the studio, without excessive volume. SVT sounds best when it's loud, at moderate levels it's nothing special. Probably the same with the V4.
These sound incredible.
Pretty sure all the classic Motown stuff was recorded with a B-15.

Its was straight to desk. They had this funny custom monitor amp thing. B15 live.
Ah.
I have one, its a B15S. Sweet amp more SVT like in tone than B15N. It's 60 Watts and a bit bigger than your regular portaflex.

60 watts? That makes it more desirable to me. Everything online I've seen said they are 100 watts.
My buddy is in a bandn with Peter Buck from REM. Peter plays bass thru one of those 60 watters and sound great. you dont see people gig em very often.
I saw a guitar player play a gig thru a tweed champ once and he was amazing. Thats only 5 watts!
Don't you fucking dare, Dean.
Dude, I don't have the money to get one. Already have enough amps anyway. Still, you never know...
Peter Buck is an exquisite porn name.
Carry on.
I'm particular to my own porn name, Stone Johnson, but I have to agree with you.
Carry on carrying on.
Dean Ryder here.
I just watched a video of that band...and it wasnt the amp I thought >:( oh well...
