Want to get them but i cant find any links to see them in action. Has anyone tried them out?
Sunn? You installed them yet in the Goddess?
I've got a set in one of my LP's. I really dig em, very high output. Quite pronounced mids. Lots of clarity.

Put the pickups in Dean's Godess SG, today.
Hot, and middy. Toned back highs, fancy tight bottom end. I actually turned up the treble on my amp.
They play Metallica songs damn right.
Pics dammit! I want to see how they look in the Goddess!
Yes pics would be nice, and a little video as well :)
Do they clean up well? I have the drop and gains and they sound really nice and clear when playing clean. The lifers , I believe, are hotter. Just wondering how much they push the input.
Sorta, my amp doesn't really do clean all that well, but from what I can tell, yeah, they do clean up real nice.
They do cleans real nice. They also respond very well to Volume/Tone roll off on the guitar.
Good to know. I really like the sound of the drop and gains, but not so much the plastic bar of soap active pickup look they have. The lifers, on the other hand, look a bit more traditional.
I'm a huge Wino fan, but I wouldn't sport anything with anyone else's signature on it my guitars, period.
Not even Leo Fender, Orville Gibson, or Poopstain FirstAct...?
Or the great Esteban?!

Not even those. The Gibson & Fender logos are enough for me. Heck, even if I owned a Fender with Leo's autograph on it, I'd sell it to finance one without.
So you'd never own a Les Paul, simply because it's a signature model, even if it were the sweetest guitar you ever played? Madness.
I don't give a fuck who's name is or isn't on something, if it does the job I need doing in a way I enjoy then it's getting got.

No, that's actually an exception.
I'd never own a Les Paul because I don't like Les Pauls.
I'd almost like to know why you have such an aversion to something so trivial as to how a person's name is graphically represented on a muscial instrument.
But I really don't care.
I'd be willing to discuss it further if you cared, so clearly we're finished here.
Good answer.
this thread has turned into a proverbial yawn factory. :-\
The fucking pickups? Should I put them in my SG? lol.

Do it. Mind the phasing of them, though. Lace does something either stupid, or very smart. Proper pickup polarity for humbuckers is NORTH-SOUTH-SOUTH-NORTH. The Winos are NORTH-SOUTH-NORTH-SOUTH. It makes a difference. That can easily be fixed by switching the neck around. Very few people can notice the sound of pickup polarity, as the phasing is ever-so-slightly-off. It isn't placebo, either, I went as far as flipping the neck around and it made a noticeable difference. So, keep that in mind. Also, these are super height sensitive. They are crazy hot, so if the neck is too high, it will blow the fucking bridge out of the water. Took me a minute to figure that out, I thought I botched the wiring job.

Thank you! I'm heavily considering getting a set with my tax return.
