I'm not getting emails when I have a new PM or one of my watched threads gets a new post. Nothing in my spam folder either. Anyone else noticing this ???
Hmmm, I see your list of the threads you're watching, but your notification boxes are unchecked, ex.:
"You aren't receiving notifications on any boards right now.
To request notifications from a specific board, click the "notify" button in the index of that board."
I don't know how it happened, but try rechecking those boxes; maybe something happened on Simple Machines' end? (host)
When I click Notify, it asks me if I want to stop watching that topic, I tried clicking yes, and then clicking Notify again ( last week or so) didn't seem to help. Now watching this topic, will see what happens ???
I quit getting email notifications a week or two ago. I can't decide if I like it better or not.

And yes, I does appear that I am no longer receiving email updates regarding PM's.
Happens all the time that the sendmail program on apache servers will crash for whatever reason. Meanwhile all the emails that php is trying to send are piling up. One day a sysadmin will reboot the server and all the notifications will barf out at once.
Sendmail being down won't generate a ton of complaints at the web host because it's a separate program from the ones that manage regular email.
Who in their right mind still runs sendmail? :o
