Title: Melobar-heres what they look like

We were discussing the Melobar in a thread on psg or lap steels. I thought some of you might be interested to see one. Its basically a lap steel that you wear like a regular guitar. the body is a soft padded material like foam or naugahide or something. I beleive these were made in the 70's? Ive only ever seen ONE In real life.

about $500. Id buy it but I fear it would just gather dust.  The pillowy body cracks me up tho  :D

No idea what either one sounds like, but it's a tossup as to whether the Peavey or Melobar is stupider looking.

Pretty cool, gives off a zz topish vibe on a couple different levels. Definitely better than the ole keytar.
