Title: War Horse

Anyone seen it? Is it sort of a kid's movie? Gonna see it tomorrow (with a gurl). I would have preferred Red Tails, but she's the one who asked.

It's good, but not great.

Pretty much the predictable Spielberg movie, really. I hated the John Williams score, but I think most people don't pay attention to that type of thing.

The movie is based on a young persons book, but it's certainly not a kids type movie.

6/10

Ha! I have that album and I was thinking extremely down-tuned, low, slow, doomy riffs when the title came up on the screen.

It was a decent movie, but nothing great, as GS said. For some reason it sort of reminded me of a kid's version of Saving Private Ryan without all the action and gore. Phhht, my movie date (and I use that loosely) said she wanted to see it for the action on the big screen. There was hardly any action associated with war-themed movies. It was still worth seeing, I guess.
