still wanting to check one out...they are $500 now....guitar center here doesnt even have one...

Freightshakin' Bob had one, he pulled two of the power tubes and gigged it as a 50W (75W) head, in favour of his JCM900, didn't have any problems with it, despite him misunderstanding how to set the impedance selector and running it at 4 times the impedance he should have, for a couple of months, 'til I caught it.
yeah....they stopped making the original ones....now they are coming with a master volume and something that self adjusts the bias over time....they are $499 now and even the old ones are going for around 5 bills on ebay.
you could check out Jet City amps i think they have some kind of comparable model
I thnk you can probably get the Peavey Windsor cheaper, if you can find it.
